Hayes is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art. She currently lives in Cleveland and works as both a graphic designer and an abstract painter. Her work is part of many permanent collections in the United States, including the Cleveland Commissioner’s office, the new Cleveland Hilton Downtown and the Omni Frisco Hotel, residence of the Dallas Cowboys.
Hayes' work is best known for her blend of color, texture, and metallic undertones. Her pieces are recognized for their ability to capture an immense variation of emotion. Hayes' inspiration ranges from the grit of urban living to the magnificence of nature.
